CHALLENGE

It was required to create a Tool for the Autodesk Revit software package that would automatically generate the calculation model based on the architectural model.

SOLUTION

To address the requirement, a separate Autodesk Revit Application in C# has been developed. The Application incorporates 3 tools which allow to modify or import additional data if required and afterwards to perform the thermal calculation and display the data on the floor plans in the Autodesk Revit software package and in PDF and XLSX formats.

RESULT

• 40-60% acceleration of the calculation process
• Due to the simplicity of the tool it can be used even by specialists who do not yet have practical experience in thermal calculations.
